sadly it was a stingray that claimed mr. irwin's life yesterday. the fearless khaki-clad, animal enthusiast with the thick australian accent (and gave new meaning to the exclamation "crikey!") will be missed around the world. he left behind a wife and two young children. rest in peace, crocodile hunter.

on a lighter note, i've decided to cut sodas out of my diet, effective today. matt volunteered to be my drill sergeant and accountibility partner. wish me luck, as i do love pepsi's sweet, sweet nectar.
